NuFlo Measurement Systems, a manufacturer and distributor of measurement and control instrumentation for the global oil & gas and process control industries, was the result of the acquisition and merger of three well-known and well-respected companies: Barton Instrument Systems, Halliburton Measurement Systems, and PMC Global Industries. NuFlo’s immediate goal was simple: provide a new Web site that efficiently and clearly introduced NuFlo to its existing and expanded customer base while continuing to focus on the quality products and services it previously offered through its separate companies. NuFlo turned to Rockport not only for custom Web site design and branding, but for hosting and site development as well.
Rockport's prior experience with several major oilfield supply companies benefited NuFlo by allowing it to present clients with a new product-based site in record time. Having worked on major Web site development projects with clients such as Cooper Cameron, FMC, Baker Hughes, and others, our staff brought this experience to the project for NuFlo's immediate benefit. We delivered to NuFlo a Web design solution that promoted its new brand strategy while showcasing their substantial product base to existing and prospective customers.
Challenges
NuFlo's product offering is both diverse and immense. Our challenge was how best to organize, architect and present this information to customers while at the same time focusing on NuFlo's branding and identity. Our communication architects worked with NuFlo to develop a hierarchy of content that allowed products to be organized and accessed by type, brand and family. Furthermore, our designers worked to ensure that this information would be presented in a unique, clean interface that minimized "clicks" and allowed pages to be printed cleanly. |
